Children's Ministry

Our ministry exists to EDUCATE, ENGAGE, and EQUIP children and families to be loving disciples of Jesus Christ!  It is our goal to provide a welcoming, inclusive program that encourages children to grow spiritually, and develop meaningful connections with each other and with adults.

VBS Registration NOW OPEN

Get ready for one of the most fun and meaningful weeks of the summer—Vacation Bible School is coming, and registration is now open!

This year, kids will step through the mist into Rainforest Falls—a vibrant world of wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, they’ll dive into an unforgettable adventure, discovering the nature of God and what it means to be deeply rooted in relationship with their Creator—a steady, safe place in life’s storms.

Each day is filled with music, games, hands-on activities, and moments that bring faith to life in ways kids can understand and remember long after the week ends.

Summer at Harrison is shaping up to be something special.

Mark your calendar now for:

Performing Arts Camp – July 20-24

Vacation Bible School – June 22-25

Sunday Mornings

Sunday School

Children, Kindergarten through 5th grade, may attend Sunday school in the Education Building from 10-11 AM each week, between the worship services.

Nursery and Preschool

Our nursery and preschool rooms are located in rooms 206 and 207 in the preschool wing, and are open during and between worship services, so parents can attend small groups or fellowship activities as well. Sunday school lessons and activities for preschoolers will be held during the worship services.

Worship Services

We are dedicated to building community, and we encourage families to worship together here at Harrison Church! We want you to know, ALL are welcome in our worship services, so please don’t hesitate to bring your little ones to worship with you.

Safety

Safety of children is of highest importance at Harrison Church, and for this reason we follow a strict Safe Sanctuary Policy. This policy requires background checks for volunteers and certain student-teacher ratios based on age. If you’d like to read our policy in its entirety, click here!
