Missions
Bringing hope and restoration to neighbors affected by Hurricane Helene.
About This Ministry
When Hurricane Helene made landfall, it left a profound impact on countless lives, homes and communities. In response, Harrison United Methodist Church is mobilizing our community to be a beacon of hope and restoration. Our Disaster Relief Team is working alongside trusted partners to provide immediate aid and ongoing support, from distributing essential supplies to offering a listening ear.
Whether you join our team of volunteers, donate critical items or offer financial support, every act of generosity brings us one step closer to healing and rebuilding. Together, we can extend God’s love to those facing hardship and stand alongside our neighbors in this season of recovery and hope.
Ways to Help
We are partnering with First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville, to provide immediate support. Your gifts directly support relief and recovery efforts.
Help sort, package and transport supplies, assist with local efforts, or join future service trips to help rebuild. Whether you have a few hours or more, every bit of help makes a difference.
Join a larger community effort to provide hot meals to families in the mountains through the Lower Avery and Newland Neighborhood Tables.
