Music & Worship Arts

For singers, musicians, and behind-the-scenes creatives.

Mission: To help create meaningful worship experiences that invite our community into deeper connection with God and one another through music, media, and the arts.

Get Engaged: Use your gifts to support worship—whether you sing, play an instrument, run sound or slides, or help behind the scenes. From spotlight to soundboard, there’s a way for you to make an impact.

Worship Hospitality

For those called to create a welcoming, spirit-filled worship experience.

Mission: To help every person feel seen, welcomed, and spiritually engaged as we gather for worship each week.

Get Engaged: Serve communion, welcome worshipers, read scripture, or be an usher. Whether you’re up front or behind the scenes, your presence helps set the tone for sacred gathering.

Connect and Grow

Deepen faith and build lasting relationships through groups for every stage of life, offering friendship, care, and spiritual growth.

Adult Spiritual Formation

For adults seeking to grow deeper in faith and relationship with Jesus.

Mission: To guide and support Bible studies, small groups, retreats, and other faith-deepening opportunities.

Get Engaged: Plan to join a Sunday School class or small group study this fall—spaces for learning, sharing, and growing together in Christ.

Children’s Ministry

For children (birth–5th grade) and families ready to grow in faith together.

Mission: To educate, engage, and equip children to be loving disciples of Jesus through inclusive programs that nurture faith and build meaningful relationships.

Get Engaged: Join us on Sundays (Nursery: 9 AM–Noon, K–5 at 10 AM) and for events like VBS, Performing Arts Camp, and Parents’ Night Out. Volunteers welcome!

Men’s Ministry

For men seeking spiritual growth, fellowship, and service

Mission: To grow in the hearts of men a deeper spiritual and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, passing on our faith to live and grow in others through the principles of the Word and the example of our works in social and community interaction.

Get Engaged: Connect with other men of faith through regular gatherings like our monthly Men’s Breakfast, as well as past favorites like steak nights, bowling, and driving range outings. Whether around the table or out in the community, this ministry offers space for laughter, support, and deeper faith.

For older adults who enjoy fun, fellowship, and faith-filled connection.

Mission: To celebrate life’s later chapters through shared meals, outings, and community.

Prayer Partner Ministry

For anyone seeking deeper connection through shared prayer.

Mission: To build spiritual friendships rooted in prayer and mutual encouragement.

Get Engaged: Commit to a 6-month season of meeting monthly with a partner using guided prayer prompts.

Women’s Ministry

Mission: Engaging the women of Harrison by nourishing community, renewing spirits, and serving others.

Youth Ministry (Grades 6–12)

For middle and high school students.

Mission: Centered on Christ and grounded in community, Youth Ministry exists to nurture authentic relationships, encourage spiritual growth, and cultivate a sense of belonging for students in grades 6–12. Together, we create space for asking questions, showing up for one another, and discovering how faith shapes who we are and how we live.

Get Engaged:  Come hang out at Sunday School (10 AM) or Youth Group (Sundays 5–7 PM), join a mission trip, lead in worship, or show up for your friends in a space that’s real, fun, and faith-filled.

Adults who feel called to support our youth are invited to serve as advisors or event volunteers.

Put your faith into action through hands-on mission and outreach. These ministries meet real needs locally and globally—feeding neighbors, supporting students, caring for creation, providing housing, and walking alongside others with compassion.

Food Missions

Nourish Up (Food Pantry)

For anyone with a heart to serve our neighbors.

Mission: To provide food, dignity, and hope to those experiencing food insecurity.

Get Engaged: Volunteer on Tuesdays or Thursdays (10 AM–12 PM) to pack and distribute groceries, offer hospitality, or pray with guests.

Operation Sandwich

For those who want to offer practical care to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Mission: To provide hearty sandwiches for Roof Above’s Day Services, a local nonprofit serving over 1,400 people each day through homeless services and housing programs.

Get Engaged: Join us once a month to prepare sandwiches following Roof Above’s simple guidelines—either on your own (20 sandwiches) or with a group (100 sandwiches).

PACKING Weekend Food Ministry

For those who want to serve local students in a hands-on, meaningful way.

Mission: To fight food insecurity by providing weekend meals for students at Sterling Elementary School.

Get Engaged: Join us for one of our two annual packing events—or sign up online to help deliver food bags to the school throughout the year.

Creation Care

For those passionate about the environment and sustainability.

Mission: To protect God’s creation through sustainable practices, advocacy, and education.

Children and schools Missons

Angel Tree

For those who want to share joy and dignity with families at Christmas.

Mission: To help parents at Sterling Elementary give meaningful gifts to their children, in partnership with Pineville Neighbors Place.

Get Engaged: Help organize and carry out the gift process—from creating angel tags to sorting and delivering donations.

Beds Equal Dreams

To ensure that every child in our local school systems has a bed—and bedding—to call their own, empowering them to “give every child a chance to dream.”

Mission:  Beds Equal Dreams provides beds to children in the Charlotte Mecklenburg school system who do not have a bed to call their won. We build beds, and provide linens and mattresses to these families. Our goal is to “give every child a chance to dream.”

Get Engaged:

  • Volunteer at Build A Bed events (twice a year)
  • Help with Give A Bed distributions (twice a year)

English as a Second Language (ESL)

For those who want to welcome and empower our international neighbors. 

Mission: To build relationships and support non-native English speakers by offering free language classes and conversation practice. 

Get Engaged: Volunteer to teach or assist with classes. No teaching background required—just a willingness to encourage and connect.

Housing Missions

Charlotte Rescue Mission Bible Study

For adults who feel called to offer hope and encouragement through God’s Word.

Mission: To share scripture, build connection, and walk alongside men in recovery through monthly Bible study and conversation.

Get Engaged: Join our team on the 4th Tuesday of each month. We meet at the church at 6 PM and lead a 7 PM Bible study at the Rebound Campus in downtown Charlotte. Scripture and simple reflection notes are provided—no teaching experience needed.

International missions

Haiti School Partnership

For those who want to invest in the future of children in Haiti.

Mission: To help College John Wesley Primary School in Cap Haitien thrive by providing daily lunches—often the only meal students receive—and supporting quality education.

Get Engaged: Pray for the children and staff, or make a financial gift to sustain meals and learning resources.
