Build a Place to Dream

A bed is more than a place to sleep. It’s a place to feel safe, to rest, and to wake up ready for a new day.
This fall, we’re partnering with Beds Equal Dreams to build 50 bed frames for children in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools who don’t have a bed of their own. Many are experiencing homelessness or living in transitional housing.
Spend a few hours measuring, building, sanding, and working alongside others to help change that.
Space fills quickly, and everyone participating must sign up in advance. Staggered shifts are available throughout the morning, including dedicated sanding shifts.
